VFW Taco wednesday la mesataco salad

 

Wednesday: AFTERNOON, 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Tacos, Taco Salad, Chili, Quesadillas, and other Mexican delights . Eat inside or have it prepared to go.
EVENING: Dinner serving begins at 6:00 p.m. and can be Steak, Roast, Meatloaf, Italian, Mexican Or ????? for $6.00 per person. The meals are mostly prepared by the American Legion but can be rotated amongst the other organizations that make up the membership of Veterans Club in La Mesa (VFW, Auxiliary, and AMVETS). Live karaoke entertainment every Wednesday also which begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 10:00 p.m..

Friday: Dinner serving begins at 6:00 p.m. and can be Steak, Roast, Meatloaf, Italian, Mexican Or ???? and which are prepared on a rotating basis by the various organizations resident in the facility (American Legion, VFW, and their Auxiliaries and AMVETS). Enjoy also the live entertainment and dancing which also begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 10:00 p.m.. Dinner meal cost is $8.00

Saturday: Saturday lunch for $5.00 begins at 11:00 a.m. that consists of BBQ burgers and dogs with all the fixings, and other offerings also provided. Starting at 6:00 p.m. each Saturday night is karaoke which ends at 10:00 p.m.. Food is not available on Saturday nights.

Most holidays (check the published scheduled) is a potluck meal so make a dish and join us (reservations not required). BBQ Burgers and dogs provided with all the fixings. On major holidays and fundraising events, we often have dinners with entertainment in the upstairs hall. For example, on St Patricks Day we offer oven roasted corned beef, red potatoes, crisp cabbage, carrots and fresh made Irish Soda Bread. Price is announced in the bulletin.

At times, we have bus trips to other posts, trips to the baseball or football games, race track, or other locations based on the desires of the members. Come join us.
